Simplifying design.

Making effortless design takes a lot of effort.

Hello there my name is Lauren Novinski and I love design that “just makes sense”.

I started my career in product design specializing in apparel, and I have over 15 years experience working throughout the industry. I work in the Adobe creative suite daily and was able to develop my design research skills by using methods like studying data in sales reports, trend forecasting, and analyzing competitor designs. Being able to coordinate and communicate with overseas factories was an important aspect of my job. As a designer, I was taught to design with the brand identity in mind. I designed products for companies like Walmart, Target, Sam’s Club, Costco, American greetings, as well as a number of smaller retailers.

Within the past five years, I have discovered a love for UX design and made a pivot to study the industry. I’ve recently graduated with a professional certificate from Georgia Tech where I did a six month intensive study. I was able to utilize my skills as a product designer into the world of technology. I became familiar with software like Miro and Figma. I’ve been fascinated with studying the behavior of users and I enjoy developing interfaces that marries company goals with the users needs and wants.
